Non slip decking for universities and colleges

Specifying decking in high traffic areas such as universities and colleges brings its own set of challenges. Decking needs to be aesthetically pleasing, easy to clean and not present a trip hazard to high heel wearers and other high traffic areas

Working with commercial supply chains

Marley Eternit work with specialist contractors, park managers, facilities managers and end users to deliver complex commercial projects, as well as small but equally challenging projects. Initially developed to meet the inclusivity requirements of the London Olympics, JB CitiDeck® non slip decking has been successfully specified on many more projects such as Oxford Brookes University.

The preferred choice for the application

All boards have full FSC and PEFC chain of custody; this ensures a truly legal and sustainable timber deck. Boards are smooth with a slightly less abrasive aggregate than our JB AntislipPlus® boards making it a smoother surface for wheelchair users. The boards also provide improved walking comfort for users with high heeled shoes and are manufactured in a finish that minimises the amount of litter or dirt becoming trapped.

Choose timber decking for peace of mind
