Fibre Cement Slates - Roofing & Cladding
Our four products, Rivendale, Birkdale, Garsdale and Thrutone have been designed with the architect in mind and offer the opportunity to produce innovative and imaginative designs either as vertical cladding or slate roof pitches as low as 15°. Marley Eternit’s fibre cement roof slates achieve a 'very good' rating under BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing providing extra credits under BREEAM Schemes.
Looking for inspiration? Visit our case study section to see our slates on a range of inspirational buildings, including a vertical basket weave on Tally Ho Police Training Centre, a rainscreen façade on Canon Popham School and the stunning curved roofing with fibre cement slate roof tiles of The Cavell Centre in Peterborough.
Unlike other materials, fibre cement slates do not require wet-cutting due to the composition and workability of the material. Slates can be cut using hand tools such as a scribing tool or guillotine. Contact our technical department on 01283 722588 for more details.
