A long-established showcase for emerging talent, the AJ Small Projects Awards are open to projects completed between 1st January 2013 and 28th November 2014 within a total contract value of £250,000.
Paul Reed, sales and marketing director at Marley Eternit, comments:
“Over the past five years, we’ve been delighted to support this award, which highlights the creativity and outstanding attention to detail among architects, bringing real value to the wider architectural community.
“We’ve continued our support once again as it’s great to celebrate the very best in small projects which have been created within size, shape and often, budget constraints, highlighting that architectural creativity is not necessarily associated with big-scale builds and budgets.
“We’re looking forward to seeing how architects have been bringing their imaginative designs to life in the 2014 awards and in turn, learning how we, as a manufacturer, can continue to build on our own products and services to provide architects with the design flexibility they need to continue producing stunning buildings.
To enter this year’s competition, architects are asked to submit 150 words describing their project, along with at least eight photographs, five drawings and one working detail. Please click here for more information. Deadline 28th November 2014.
All of the projects entered into the awards will be featured in the AJ Buildings Library with the 24 shortlisted projects published in the AJ, exhibited at the NLA in Store Street, London, and invited to present in front of a top-flight judging panel.
