by RMJM the Garscube project at Glasgow University is described as an ‘urban barn’, the solution adopted is a low slung pitched roof
form intended to be sympathetic to the character of neighbouring properties using Thrutone Fibre Cement Slates. This sports a single homogeneous skin to form both walls and roof alongside
generous window openings.
