Job Profile

We are currently recruiting for a Central Environmental Co-Ordinator to facilitate the provision of a safe working environment that is non polluting and supports the ability to meet product specifications.

Key Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria

Safety and environment – Support and meet company objectives and targets.This includes:

Performance Management – Ensuring sites are operating within legal requirements and applying best practice techniques where possible.To also support the Environmental Management System. This Includes:

Leadership – Work alongside the team’s to develop and drive environmentalimprovements in all area’s.

Communication – Regularly review audit results and communicate areas for improvement across all sites.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & knowledge

The role will be responsible for overseeing the environmental activities and performance across the UK MEL sites.The role will be based at Burton however Travel to the other sites will be required.

The Central Environmental Co-Ordinator may have experience of working in a manufacturing environment and of lean practices, but it is expected that they have knowledge of ISO 14001 and Environmental Legislation.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in an applicable field i.e. Environmental Science, Engineering or similar.

They will be IT literate and fully converse with Microsoft Office programmes.

Area Sales Manager - Cedral Etex Cladding

Closing Date: 25.01.2017

Part of the Etex façade division the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for optimising sales of the Cedral facade range within their area, this will be achieved through:

  • Managing an established base of key and development account customers.

  • Prospecting new accounts, merchants, stockists, developers and Architects, across all relevant construction sectors.Developing a network of stock holding accounts supplying customers.

  • Full area lead management.Ideally located around Bristol / Cardiff.

    Key Responsibilities

  • To achieve set sales budgets.

  • To establish and maintain contact and promote Cedral products and services to all potential customers.

  • To maintain close liaison with Customer Services in order to manage the sales area effectively, and ensure that his/ her internal Customer Service Adviser is aware of all alterations on quotations raised in the area.

  • To keep abreast of developments in commercial, technical and policy matters and be able to react accordingly.

  • To establish and maintain good customer relations, particularly by prompt and efficient response to queries and complaints.To develop business via existing customer base and new customers.

  • To plan journeys and customer calls in order to achieve optimum use of time.

  • To effectively control expenditure on telephone calls, entertaining and incidentals.

  • To maintain and operate internal recording, reporting, CRM and administration systems.

  • To assist at exhibitions, conferences, presentations and other functions as required.

  • To regularly review personal progress and development.

  • To monitor the efficiency of present procedures and systems and where necessary suggest new improvements.To follow safe working practice in accordance with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act and with Marley Eternit Safety Policy.

  • Local implementation of agreedbusiness models and sales strategy.

  • Maintain focus on gold standards of safety at all times, constantly vigilant and pro-active in respect of recognising and reporting hazards, ensuring high levels of awareness, and taking a continuous improvement approach to the working environment and safety behaviors in respect of self, colleagues and any other third parties/visitors.Any other duties that are considered to be within the capability of the job holder that may be requiredfrom time to time.The role requires extensive travel within the sales area and some travel to other UK sites as required.

    Qualifications, skills & knowledge

  • Be ambitious with a strong desire to succeed.Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent within a business / construction related discipline.

  • Strong analytical skill with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Track record of delivering results, ideally within a related field.Ability to build relationships, present and communicate at all levels.Be a team player.Good level of computer literacy

  • Pro-active approach towards safety.Full valid UK Driving license
