Part of the Etex façade division the Area Specification Manager will be responsible for optimising specifications and sales of the Equitone facade range within their area, this will be achieved by:
Generating product specifications with Architects and other specifiers
Managing a portfolio of projects from specification to order.
Following leads generated with specifiers
To achieve project specification targets with Architects, leading to achieving agreed national sales targets.
Maintain an up to date project portfolio.
Develop Architect relationships and promote the use of Equitone products.
To establish and maintain good customer relations, by prompt and efficient response to queries and
To effectively control expenditure on telephone calls, entertaining and incidentals.
To maintain and operate internal recording, CRM reporting and administration systems.
To assist at exhibitions, conferences, presentations and other functions as required.
To regularly review personal progress and self development.
To monitor the efficiency of present procedures and systems and where necessary suggest new improvements.
Local implementation of agreedbusiness models and strategy.
Maintain focus on gold standards of safety at all times, constantly vigilant and pro-active in respect of recognising and reporting hazards, ensuring high levels of awareness, and taking a continuous improvement approach to the working environment and safety behaviors in respect of self, colleagues and any other third parties/visitors.
Any other duties that are considered to be within the capability of the job holder that may be required from time to time
The role requires extensive travel within the sales area and some travel to other UK sites as required.
Qualifications, skills & knowledge
Be ambitious with a strong desire to succeed.
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent preferably within an architectural or construction related discipline.
Enjoys architecture ideally with past experience specification selling to Architects with aesthetic materials.
Track record of delivering results within a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build relationships, present and communicate at all levels.
Be a team player
Good level of computer literacy
Pro-active approach towards safety.
Full valid UK Driving license
Internal: Inbound Marketing Team, External Sales Team, Marketing, Customer Services,Etex facades central team.External: Architects, specifiers, direct and indirect customers.
