With a varied set of skills, our team works with all elements of the marketing mix using both traditional (POS, direct, advertising, sponsorship, PR) and modern (digital – including web, social, email and CRM) tools. Senior Electrical Engineer

Closing Date: 11.04.2017

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer. The role of the Senior Electrical Engineer is to work with the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leaders, the Maintenance Planner, and the Burton Engineering Manager to ensure that personnel, plant and spares are available in a timely manner to complete daily/weekly maintenance works.To co ordinate and supervise the electrical team, contractors and maintenance activities on a daily and weekly basis to ensure the production plant meets the manufacturing targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety and environment – To take a leading role in the works to ensure that safety is always treated as the number one priority and that the shift operates in such a way as to minimise environmental impact.

Quality – Ensure production complies with product specification and appearance acceptable to customer, responsible for electrical engineering works and schedule completion.

Leadership – Demonstrate through action, strong leadership principles.

Communication – Carry out and maintain the effective communication requirements of the business.

Operational Performance – Apply continuous improvement techniques like “Practical Problem Solving” and Lean methodology to drive performance improvement.8D analysis of breakdown.Waste reduction.Machine availability improvement.Financial improvement through cost reduction or value creation.

Workplace Organization- To use established principles (5S) to ensure that the workplace is organised in the most effective manner.

Behavioural – A very adept communicator across all functions and levels.Works well under pressure and enjoys meeting tight deadlines.Is very competitive, ambitious and goal orientated.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge – Previous experience in an FMCG environment at Supervisory level.Relevant electrical qualifications.PLC proficient with Allan Bradley and Siemens.A drive to develop people, processes and to deliver world class performance.Preferably IOSH or NEBOSH Certified.

Internal Sales Executive

Closing Date: 05.04.2017

We are currently looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive for the Profiled Sheeting Department. The Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for optimising sales by promoting Marley Eternit products and services.

The Internal Sales Executive will assume responsibility for the development of account customers, prospecting new accounts and identifying sales opportunities.This will be combined with the ability to research existing and new markets to identify business opportunities, and the potential for product and process innovation.

The Internal Sales Executive should have a good understanding of competitor activity, influential members of the supply chain, trading and non trading accounts and the UK Agricultural industry.

The successful candidate should posses, an excellent telephone manner, high emotional intelligence, sound business acumen, combined with a structured approach to planning and objective setting. Understanding and working towards the Department and Company strategy is essential.

As the Internal Sales Executive, you should be ambitious with a strong desire to succeed, have an understanding of the UK Agricultural market and surrounding issues.Will posses strong negotiating skills, have an aptitude for learning, have an analytical approach, with a strong analytical skill set and be an excellent communicator at all levels.

The Internal Sales Executive will possess a good level of computer literacy, have strong organisational skills and the ability to learn quickly.

This role will involve a small amount of travel within the UK as required; therefore a valid UK driving license is essential.
