With a small, highly professional team of four, we are responsible for HR strategy and support company-wide, as well as working closely with the multinational Etex Group (of which Marley Eternit is a member) and its other UK businesses. Our Head of HR is one of Marley Eternit’s Leadership Team of five.

Enquiry Support CoOrdinator Facades Lead Development

JOB PROFILE: To qualify, develop and prioritise enquiries ensuring valuable sales opportunities are passed to the external sales team within a specified timeframe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-qualify and develop leads for the sales teams from marketing activities including online advertising, direct mail and exhibitions, within an agreed timeframe.Have the ability to communicate with a varied group of lead providers.

Use research tools where relevant, to increase knowledge / awareness of lead provider and project details (if available) before making contact

Update the in-house CRM system with information once the lead has been contacted / qualified

Work closely with the sales team to track / follow up the pre-qualified leads and to maintain current project status.Ability to manage and track lead generation / development and a sales pipeline through the CRM system.

To work in conjunction with the external and internal sales teams to provide an efficient, informed and courteous service to our customers / lead providers.To make and answer calls in a professional and pleasant manner.Support the Inbound Enquiry Team to action and process sample and marketing enquiries accurately when required.

Maintain focus on gold standards of safety at all times, constantly vigilant and pro-active in respect of recognising and reporting hazards, ensuring high levels of awareness, and taking a continuous improvement approach to the working environment and Safety behaviours in respect of self, colleagues and any other third parties/visitors

Continuously seek to add value, improve efficiency and reduce wastage by adopting lean principles wherever appropriate.

To carry out other tasks as deemed necessary and that are considered to be within the job holder's capability.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Ideally educated to degree level, the job holder will be proficient with the Microsoft Office packages and have experience of working with contact databases (CRM systems).The job holder will have at least 12 months internal / external sales experience / account management, and be experienced in calling at director level to qualify leads. The job holder will have exceptional customer service skills in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills and listening skills.They will be highly organised and self motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and the ability to work efficiently and accurately with a clear focus on quality.

They will possess a professional phone manner with a consultative approach and tone of voice, as well as a positive can-do attitude that strives to continuously improve.The job holder is able to work as part of a wide and varied team within a busy environment. High level of awareness, and pro active-approach towards safety with a sound track record of achieving high standards of safety at all times for self, team members, all colleagues and third parties as appropriate.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To maintain all production and auxiliary plant to the required standards to minimise downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain all production and auxiliary plant in good working order and in a safe condition.

Minimum downtime and production targets met.To always work safely.

Minimise accidents and ensure safe working environment.To liaise with process operators on all aspects of production.Harmony and good working relationships and early identification of process problems.To identify potential plant improvements.Improvements in plant performance and reduced costs.To be able to operate all production plant.Understanding of machinery and flexible workforce.Repair faults in the event of breakdown.Continuation of production

LIST OF ACTIVITIES

Maintain all production and auxiliary plant, both PPM’s and breakdown.To work safely and uphold the company safety policy.To liaise and discuss process and plant problems with process operators

To identify machinery and plant improvement.Be capable of operating all production plant (as required).

To drive forklift trucks.To authorise permits to work.To attend meetings as and when required

To attend training courses as required ensuring full knowledge and understanding of production plant.

Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.To comply with company policies on Quality and Environment. Report all plant and equipment issues to the Mechanical and/or Electrical Supervisors and Production Manager/Team Leaders.To ensure spares usage is recorded.To show a flexible approach to varying work activities including production requirements

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Engineering Manager, but when on shift will be directed by the Production Manager/Team Leader to ensure rapid response to breakdown situations or potential problems to production.The Maintenance Technician will develop knowledge of all plant and machinery on the site, both production and ancillary.The MT will work as required on PPM checks and attend breakdowns as a priority.

Daily liaison with process operators is expected to build strong working relationships and develop a good mutual understanding of the process plant and potential problems.Identification of such problems with improvement ideas is expected.

The job holder will uphold all company policies and be flexible in their approach to working requirements to include fork truck driving and housekeeping.As a Maintenance Technician, the job holder must be capable of operating all production machinery after appropriate training.The job holder will be expected at times to work away from site to attend training courses or other company activities. As well as several years experience of maintenance within a continuous process control industry, a maintenance technician must have completed a relevant, recognised apprenticeship.The job holder would be encouraged to develop and expand their knowledge base by achieving higher academic and practical qualifications.The enthusiasm and ability to keep up to date with relevant technological developments will be characteristic of the Maintenance Technician.A flexible approach to overtime working will be required.
