Our Keele site

Keele production line

Ridgehill Drive, Madeley Heath, Crewe, Cheshire CW3 9LY

We produce hand-made and machine made clay tiles

No one quite knows why this site is referred to as ‘Keele’, as it is actually based just outside the village , close to the M6 motorway in Cheshire! It has modern production lines that support the production of quality hand-made Marley Eternit roof tiles.

We are always looking towards the future and ways to improve processes and outputs. We rely on our employees/teams to identify how this can be done. For example, we put an initiative in place to minimise waste, and we have achieved substantial reduction in that.

We encourage and invest in the development of our teams to ensure the continued success of the site. We currently have around 140 employees here including a Production Manager, Operators, Team Leaders, Shift Managers, Maintenance team, Administration, Planning (Production and Maintenance), Quality Department, EHSQ Officer, Samples and Stores Personnel.

Production provides many opportunities for development within the company and is a fantastic gateway to progression. You will gain a great deal of knowledge on the core function of the business and develop many transferable skills.

  • Everyone is a key part of the business. We will drive and support you to excel in your abilities, participate in team work, voice your opinions, make recommendations and be involved in company projects or site improvements.
