    • The UK’s first tongue and groove weather board (Cedral Click), which is easier to install
    • A new type of fixing called Solofix that speeds up installation by up to 30%.
  • New processes, for example:
    • We are the first product manufacturer in the field to be associated with the Carbon Trust: we understand the importance of embodied carbon in terms of sustainability
    • We have introduced new ways of dealing with waste production.
  • New technologies, for example:
    • We want to be as digital as possible and deliver more services digitally, such as providing online specification tools.

Material Movement Operative x 2

We are currently recruiting for two Material Movement Operatives.

Job Profile

To oversee delivery and loading of all materials for Marley Eternit, enhance customer satisfaction, meet loading/unloading KPI goals and supply of consumables to all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Performance – Loading of materials, Unloading of materials, Booking in and out of all consumables, Allocation and issuing of consumables to all departments.

Safety – Site Rules and Regulations, House keeping

Customer Focus – KPI goals and supply of consumables to all areas of the business.

Cost Control – All stock to be checked and counted before signing delivery receipt, Sign of P.O.D upon receipt of delivery, All stock to be checked against work orders.

Compliance with legislation / Reporting – Complete goods in administration, Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, Report all stock damage

Leadership and Development – Responsible for management of all material, maintain stock levels,

Quality – Are kept clean and free of obstructions, Stock to be stacked and stored correctly.

Communication – Email and report daily records to line manager

Other Duties – Help production with driver support as required, Holiday cover for production areas.

Qualifications, Experiences, Skills and Knowledge – A trained and qualified side-loader driver is required but not essential, Broad product knowledge would be an advantage but not essential, I.T. Skills but not essential.

Area Sales Manager - East Region Roofing

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for optimising sales by promoting Marley Eternit products and services.This will be achieved through:

The Area Sales Manager will assume responsibility for managing an established base of key and development account customers, promoting new accounts and particularly specification sales development across all relevant private, commercial and public construction sectors.This will be combined with the ability to research existing and new markets to identify business opportunities, and the potential for product and process innovation.

Sound business acumen, combined with a structured approach to planning and objective setting, with the ability to contribute towards the Company strategy.There will also be the requirement to keep abreast of developments and economic conditions in the construction market, and be able to react and plan accordingly.

Skills and Experience:

Be ambitious with a strong desire to succeed

Knowledge/background within business and/or the building/construction industry

Strong negotiating skills

Aptitude for learning

Have an analytical approach, with a strong analytical skill set

Be an excellent communicator at all levels, who is comfortable presenting to both small and large groups of people

Candidates must live on patch

The Area Sales Manager will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in a Business/Construction related field, and should also possess a good level of computer literacy and have strong organisational skills.

This role involves extensive travel within the sales area and some travel to UK sites as required; therefore a valid UK driving license is essential.
