The Tree House Project Using Profiled Sheeting

One such example of an innovative use of a product is the use of our fibre cement profiled sheeting on a project called the Tree House, Isle of Wight. The owners wanted to turn their small bungalow into "something bigger, something more contemporary and dynamic without being show-offy" Lincoln Miles, designer and owner of The Tree House.

After extending the property using a mix of materials including Marley Eternit Profile 6 corrugated sheeting, the couple used a selection of more unusual building materials, including cow slurry and yoghurt to encourage moss growth. The finished family home won both the Architect’s Journal Small Build Award 2011 and the RIBA 2011 (Isle of Wight) Award.
