Plain Tile Cloak Verge

The Plain Tile Cloak Verge System provides a maintenance free solution to concrete plain tile verges.

Combining traditional detailing and maximum choice, the Plain Tile Cloak Verge has been designed for those occasions where a low maintenance option is desirable. Aesthetically pleasing composite tile and verge units blend with standard concrete Plain Tiles to form a totally weatherproof, mortar free verge detail.

Authority
The Plain Tile Cloak Verge System is manufactured to BS EN 490 'Concrete roofing tiles and fittings' with BSI Kitemark licence.

Composition
Plain Tile Cloak Verge units are made from concrete in colours and textures to match the main roof tiles. Fixing nails are manufactured from durable aluminium.

Performance
The Plain Tile Cloak Verge system may be used on rafter pitches 35°-55°. Left and Right verge units alternate with standard tile and a half tiles to break bond.

Compatibility
Plain Tile Cloak Verge tiles are fully compatible with the range of Marley Ventilation and Dry Fix components and are appropriate for use with plain tiles.

Description
* Standard nailing method allows mechanical fixing of all verge tiles to resist wind uplift as required by BS 5534 : Part 1.
* Available in Left and Right hand units in both smooth and granular finishes from the Plain Tile range of standard colours.
* Suitable for rafter pitches from 35° up to 55°.
* Segmental Block End Ridges or Mono-Ridges complete the weatherproof finish at the apex.
* Standard Tile-and-a-Half Tiles are used in alternate courses to break the bond at the verge.
* The system incorporates standard eaves and ridge tiles.
* Suitable for brick, render and bargeboard constructions.
* Fully compatible with the range of Marley Ventilation products appropriate for use with Plain Tiles.
