Old Roof Scrappage Scheme

Marley Eternit has launched an ‘old roof scrappage scheme’ across its range of fibre cement profiled sheeting.

The old roof scrappage scheme means that there’s never been a better time to replace a roof that has reached the end of its life, or is simply in need of an upgrade to meet modern building performance expectations.

The scheme, which is open to the owners of buildings, allows people to claim £1 per square metre for their old roof, when they replace it with Marley Eternit Profiled Sheeting and use a network of partnered contractors.

Rebecca Farren, Campaign Manager at Marley Eternit said "The old roof scrappage scheme is a great incentive for owners of buildings to replace their old roofs. Profiled Sheeting has some excellent properties, such as corrosion resistance, which makes it an ideal choice for any building, particularly buildings in aggressive environments.

As the only UK manufacturer of fibre cement profiled sheeting, we want to help improve the British landscape, so we are working hard to ensure that the refurbishment of roofs is as easy as possible; we have an outstanding technical department, who are on hand to assist people thinking about replacing their roof and a network of roofing contractors.

With over 100 year’s experience, we have large bank of refurbishment projects, which are good examples of how fibre cement profiled sheeting has transformed the look and function of a building – there is a good selection on our website for visitors to browse through."

Indeed many building owners with old roofs, particularly steel and asbestos cement are choosing to replace them in order to take advantage of the benefits offered by Marley Eternit’s fibre cement profiled sheeting.
