Marley Eternit Launches Two New High Performance Cladding Panels

Both products feature the newly developed Pro coating, a smooth silky matt surface based on a hardened varnish and applied by a special process using ultraviolet light. This coating provides protection against various types of staining, including graffiti produced by common aerosol and other paints, which can be eliminated by graffiti removers.

The difference between Natura Pro and Pictura lies in the amount of pigments applied during the coating process, Natura Pro has a tactile, smooth and semi-translucent surface, which allows the natural variegation of the fibre cement to show through, whereas Pictura has an opaque coating, showing only the colour of the paint in a solid finish.

The smooth, silky matt surface and UV-hardened top layer of both panels offers good protection against many types of staining and mechanical damage during construction, which will prove a huge benefit to contractors on busy sites.

Charlotte Hughes, Campaign Manager - Cladding & Profiled Sheeting at Marley Eternit, explains: “Natura Pro and Pictura have been introduced specifically to offer a stain and graffiti-resistant surface finish for customers, making them suitable for use in the most demanding applications. As with all our cladding, they offer an unbeatable combination of durability and aesthetic appeal.”
