A new colour – Heather Blend – has been added to the existing four colour choices of Blue Smooth, Dark Heather, Staffordshire Mixture and Staffordshire Blue to provide additional design options for architects and specifiers. The Hawkins Heather Blend colour option has been created to provide a modern alternative to the popular Hawkins Heather Mix colour historically offered by Marley Eternit. The Hawkins range is well established and its long-standing heritage, combined with highly efficient modern firing techniques, allows Marley Eternit to continue to expand and offer a unique colour palette.
The Hawkins range bucks the common pre-conception that clay plain tiles are unsustainable and expensive. Marley Eternit’s manufacturing technique produces the tile efficiently and competitively, making them a real option for any roofing project. Easy to install and machine made for precision accuracy, the Hawkins range offers the powerful combination of affordability and performance and have helped turn many design dreams into stunning reality.
The Hawkins clay tile range has a 30 degree minimum pitch and is available with a full range of complementary fittings and accessories and excellent environmental credentials.
Diana Bullock, campaign manager, Marley Eternit, comments: “The addition of the Heather Blend colour to the Hawkins range is testimony to our ongoing commitment to offer the market the very best in choice, affordability, performance and aesthetics. We are confident that like the other colours in the range, Heather Blend will prove to be a real winner with designers and contractors alike.”
Heather Blend is the 25th colour available across Marley Eternit’s extensive clay plain tile range which also includes Acme Single Camber, Acme Double Camber and Ashdowne. In addition, Marley Eternit offers a range of clay interlocking tiles: Sandringham and Domino.
