Marley Eternit's Dry Fix Systems Are Fully Certified

The British Board of Agrément’s 07/4415 certificate means that Marley Eternit has achieved an independent rating across its range of Dry Fix systems, including the dry ridge, dry verge, dry hip, slate dry verge and mitred hip systems, in one composite certificate.

This adds to Marley Eternit’s collection of BBA certificates for its products, including; Eternit Fibre Cement Slates (03/4002), Melbourn Interlocking Slates (00/3702), Contour Vent Tiles (99/3602) and GRP Valley Trough (93/2909).

John Dodd, Technical Manager at Marley Eternit, comments: “Demand for dry fix products has surged in recent years as mortar has proved to be vulnerable in the UK's increasingly volatile weather conditions. In fact recent research from the country's largest mortgage and savings provider showed that 1.5 million homes are affected by storm damage each year, with the average roof needing 127 tiles replaced as a result. This shows that in today's climate, dry fix is a necessity, not an option.

“Contractors and specifiers are constantly looking for products that are both time and cost-efficient and our dry fix systems deliver both of these. The systems are easy to install, which means they are an adaptable product for a roofer of any skill-set and the fact they are maintenance free also offers clear cost saving benefits.”

These products are part of Marley Eternit’s wider range of dry fix and ventilation systems, including the popular Universal range of roofing accessories, which are also compatible with other roofing manufacturer’s tiles and slates.
