Marley Eternit's Bluclad Wins BRE Approval

It is now the latest in the manufacturer’s cladding portfolio to receive industry accreditation, following the rainscreen range’s BBA certification 18 months ago. Bluclad was tested for resistance to fire (Class O), water, wind, impact, and freezing and thawing among other properties.

Bluclad, which was first awarded BRE certification in 1999, is a flat, Class O render board for a variety of polymeric renders, textured finishes and other surface coatings on a wide variety of applications, ranging from external cladding, infill panels, internal wall linings, fascias, bargeboards and sheathing.

It is one of the flagship products in Marley Eternit’s building boards portfolio that also comprises water-resistant Hydropanel, general-purpose, external grade Eterboard and load-bearing structural board Duripanel. These building boards complement the manufacturer’s range of fibre cement rainscreen cladding panels.
