Buildings situated near exposed coastal locations pose a number of challenges - especially when located in an Area of Outstanding Beauty. This was the challenge faced by architecture practice, Sens, when they were briefed to transform a fairly typical 1940's bungalow into an eye-catching waterfront beach house on the Hampshire coastline. Marley Eternit Profile 3 was used for vertical cladding, complemented by Farmscape Anthracite on the roof.

Fibre cement profiled sheeting bought a sympathetic treatment to the roof of a former storage barn that has been transformed into luxury holiday homes.

Architect Mary Arnold-Forster specified Marley Eternit’s fibre cement profiled sheeting for her second self-build on the Isle of Skye for a multitude of reasons, not least to prove that a shed could be a beautiful thing.
